The €1,100 Main Event is set to begin on March 8 with Day 1A. It will feature a total of three starting flights, played over two days and two more days of action. In other words, the name of the big winner will become known on March 11.

A €2,400 High Roller and a €3,000 Platinum Event will be the largest buy-in tournaments on the festival’s schedule. They will take place on March 7-8 and March 11, respectively.

WPTDeepStacks Johannesburg

A separate WPTDeepStacks festival is also set to kick off later this week. This one will be held in the beautiful South African city of Johannesburg, and Emperors Palace will be the venue to play host to it.

The WPTDeepStacks Johannesburg will be taking place from March 7 through March 18. The R11,000 Main Event is scheduled for March 16-18. Players will be able to buy directly into the event or to win a seat through one of the many satellites. Registration into the tournament will remain open through Level 3 of Day 2.

The R100,000 High Roller with a limited 24-entry field is another exciting event that will take place within the festival. It will run on March 7-9 at the host venue. Players will be able to join its field until the second level of Day 2.

WSOP Circuit – Atlantic City

Harrah’s Resort on the legendary Atlantic City Boardwalk will be the next stop of one of America’s most popular poker series. The next WSOP Circuit festival will be running from March 8 through March 19 at the above-mentioned casino.

As usual, its schedule will include 12 gold ring events and several more tournaments that will come with nice prizes but without a piece of WSOP Circuit gold. A four-day $365 No-Limit Hold’em with a guaranteed prize pool of $150,000 will mark the beginning of Circuit action at Harrah’s.

The four-day $1,675 Main Event is set for March 16. It will feature a guaranteed prize pool of $400,000 for its entries.

It was about this time last year when Harrah’s Atlantic City last hosted a WSOP Circuit festival. The Main Event back then attracted a total of 341 entries who generated a prize pool of $511,500. Abraham Korotki was crowned victor to receive his second WSOP Circuit gold ring and the amount of $117,645 in prize money.
