Spring Poker Open

Fans of Borgata poker action have certainly set sights on the upcoming Spring Poker Open. The major festival will run from April 10 through April 27 at the popular New Jersey Boardwalk casino.

Spring Poker Open action is set to kick off with a five-day $600 No-Limit Hold’em tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million. The five-day $2,700 Main Event, slated for April 22, will too feature a $1 million guarantee. Samuel Taylor won last year’s edition of the Championship event, outlasting a field of 670 entries for a first-place prize of $390,103.

This year’s Borgata Spring Poker Open will be quite rich in other events, some of which will feature five- and six-figure guarantees to heat up action on the casino floor.

WSOP Circuit Harrah’s Cherokee

The 2017/2018 season of the WSOP Circuit is drawing to a close. There are just a few stops on its schedule and Harrah’s Cherokee casino in North Carolina is one of these. The gambling venue will play host to the popular series from April 12 to April 23.

There will be 12 gold ring events on the schedule and several more special tournaments. The four-day $1,675 Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million will be the stop’s highlight. The tournament will take place from April 20-23. However, there will be several more tournaments with attractive guarantees, including the four-day $365 No-Limit Hold’em with a guaranteed prize pool of $500,000 starting April 12.

The upcoming WSOP Circuit festival will not be the series’ last visit to Harrah’s Cherokee this season. In fact, the gambling venue will once again play host to the season-ending Global Casino Championship. The three-day event is scheduled for August 7-9 and will feature a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million and a WSOP gold bracelet for the champion.

WPT Amsterdam

The vibrant Dutch capital is days away from becoming an even more exciting place, particularly for poker players and fans of the World Poker Tour. The emblematic Holland Casino will host the next WPT Main Tour festival from April 13 all the way through April 21. Its schedule includes a plethora of thrilling tournaments and satellites to those.

Here it is also important to note that a WPTDeepStacks festival will also be running along with the Main Tour one. The €1,500 buy-in WPTDeepStacks Main Event will kick off on April 14 and will feature three starting flights and two more days of play until a winner is determined.

As for the €3,300 Main Tour Main Event, it will take place on April 16-20. The major tournament will kick off with two starting flights and will have three more days of play until one lucky player emerges victorious and scoops the largest portion of the prize pool.
